When time allows me , I love to play with my makeup! I mean who doesn’t right. There are times I create looks that I’m impressed with and at times not. Most times I find myself attempting to create artistic makeup looks. Makeup artist everywhere are all about this form of self expression, and the art is always unique!
There are two looks that I have created, that I wanted to share. Here’s a look created from one of the few times I challenged myself express myself artistically.

The Process
This started with seeing makeup artists all over instagram posting videos and pictures of their extreme creative looks. Which turned into a pinterest search of makeup and creative looks. And all of that finally turned into a freestyling moment from all the inspiration I gathered of the creative looks.
I used my BH Cosmetic palette for this look, which had a lot of fun colours that compliment my skin tone and the beautiful burnt orange shade from one of my favourite palettes from Anastasia Beverly Hills, Modern Renaissance.
Another Artistic Makeup Look!

Look Two-no rules
I went a little extreme with this look! Because this girl had new products and I was dying to create a look. So, I did what I had to do, and spent a whole weekend, experimenting with makeup. The one thing I told myself to remember is,being an artist has no rules and no limits. So I went for it and this look was the amazing outcome. It started with a new container of Nyx Glitter ofcourse, a lavender-purple liquid liner that I couldn’t resist. Which was honestly the result of an ULTA beauty therapeutic visit, that I felt I needed…
The main eyeshadow palette I used was the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill collaboration. This has become one of my go to palettes by the way! It was accompanied by a tarte palette and together this extreme artistic look came to be.
The colours were inspired by the blue faux wool dreads that I had. For some reason I have been drifting towards the colour blue for quite some time now…

Final Words…
Trail and error is what all of this is about, you will never know how far you can push yourself and achieve if you do not try. The most important thing is to just have fun with it and remember there are no rules to art and self expression.
