Fashion week!
Columbus fashion week was founded in the year 2010, it is a non-profit organisation serving as a platform to showcase local and emerging fashion designers, while providing scholarships to fashion design students.
Getting an inside look of what goes on within this organisation’s events is my current mission right now, getting the first hand experience of the ambiance that FWC has to offer.
My first show was the hair meets fashion event, this event was at the Charles Penzone Grand salon situated in Gahanna. The turn up was amazing, as I entered the welcoming i received set the mood for the whole night.
Walking in, to my right there were treats and champagne was being served, which was beautiful. I of course only indulged with my eyes, i don’t drink and i’m trying to cut out sugar, the story of my life…
A photo booth was provided thanks to Clear Choice photo booth , with fun props to go with it that got people letting loose and toning down the seriousness that anyone walked in with,
Cavier shampoo’s and conditioners were flying off the shelves, young blood’s make-up line was represented as well as Davines hair products and many more. Models were on display and the stylists were at it doing their magic with people’s hair, this event was success according to me and i’m already looking forward to the next one!
OK, lets get to the part that I’ve been waiting for, yes please!
My outfit for the night
I wore a draped beige/brown skirt, with a black embroidered lace crop, and paired it with a black kimono and rocked out beige/peach Valentino ballet flats. My accessories where pretty simple and chic, they consisted of a black lace choker and a rose gold Tempo time piece.
