The Photography process
The photography process is time consuming, and absolutely rewarding. This process usually include myself of cause, my partner in crime the tripod, and a remote. Hence, the remote is so that I don’t have to obsess over the self timer and possibly break my leg while trying capture the perfect shot. And that is my very own traveling photography boyfriend LOL, the tripod. Ensuring that you have the right tools is important, and a DSLR is always a great investment for great photography. A amazing smartphone works just as great! Invest in a tripod or just ask a good friend to help you with taking your pictures, photography is a learning process, and overtime you will figure out your style and the tools you prefer.
Go to Editing Apps and Tools!!!
The go to editing apps or tools that I love to use are; Vsco, Snapseed & Lightroom. My constant go-to has been Adobe Lightroom. This is probably part of being a photography lover, a bit of a perfectionist, and a content creator. It seems like investing in the best tools is important. Most Importantly , it plays a part, working towards producing quality content. We are all drawn to quality images and beautiful things are appealing to the eye. Creating content that’s appealing visually will allow the pictures to stand out.
The Secret to a great Instagram Feed
The big secret to a great instagram feed is a great aesthetic, creating something that has a set tone, considering the colour scheme, and things that make it look cohesive. This is something I have done a little research about. In doing this research, I have watched videos, and followed a few content creators to find inspiration. Even better, the inspiration helped me discover the aesthetic that works. This topic deserves a whole post dedicated to it, in order to be able to break it down and have a more clear picture on how to pursue this process.
26th Birthday Reflections
Two decades and six years, not too far from the next decade, wow how time flies. As I have stepped into this new chapter , I look back at my 24th birthday reflections and invite you to look back with me. http://theebelovedamour.com/24-growth-and-reflections/ (click here to reflect with me) Oh how time really flies!
Questions to Reflect
Questions that I have asked myself at age 24, are questions that are still relevant at age 26. It would be only fair to answer those questions now as part of the process of reflecting.
who are you?
A: I am a strong black women. I am a dreamer and a dream chaser. I am a creative and I am who I choose to be daily. A simple question, that’s loaded and requires more words to unpack all its facets. I am at a point where I know who I am in this moment and know who I’m becoming. A women after God’s own heart. I am a woman of purpose and a hard working. Above all, I am Love.
Q: Are you where you want to be?
A: I am where I need to be in this season. I am not where I want to be in terms of my life and career. The good thing is that I am seeing myself move into that direction. The truth is I have prayed to be in the place that I am in. In this current season I have to continue trusting God’s process. And that I will be in the place that I envision my self being.
Q: What do you want your future look like?
A: Wow! the future’s looking bright! A cliche, but what can I say? I’m an optimist. I want my future to include hard work and prosperity. I see myself being a successful entrepreneur. Having businesses that I will be passionate about, and living a fabulous life filled with adventures. In the mist of all the glitz and glam, I want the future, and the present, to include being a giver, and being able to help those in need.
Q: Are you the best version of yourself that you can be?
A: I believe I am a best version of myself in this season. And improvement is apart of life. I will forever be in the state of growth, and where my best becomes a better version of herself. With future experiences, this question will be revisited and re-evaluated.
Q: How can you improve?
A: Of cause the generic answers will come up at this point, where I would answer this by saying, by doing better, but that is not being completely frank with myself. Improvement is apart of the journey. Therefore, striving to improve will always help us become better. How can I improve…. By living life and being present in every little moment, and by not allowing anything or anyone to take away my joy.
Words from Amour…
Amour’s famous last words… In the spirit of reflecting, I wrote a dear me letter on my birthday Instagram post;
https://www.instagram.com/p/BxYmy-Bj8Vf/ , I took a moment just to be thankful.
Give thanks in every little moment that life gives you, and even in the bad time, be sure to find the Morning Joy.
