Finally Did it!
Is it too late to say happy new year?
we are officially three months into 2019, and it is safe to say I did it!!! I finally posted my Youtube intro video ‘New on youtube video post’, after about 15 takes throughout the year if not more, and I did it. 31st December 2018, sometime before midnight, I stuck to my goal for the year!
To the people who do this for a living or even as a hobby big ups to you, because in the beginning there is so much learning to do. I ensured to have a camera or something for quality visuals. It was not an issue because I made sure to buy a DSLR two years ago, and I think I’ve got this.
Beyond having tools for great visuals, I went through learning how to edit, and honestly still going through it. It’s honestly frustrating, but thank God for tutorials. I don’t know where I would be having to figure things out on my own. Believe me when I say thank God, because I was busy searching for every little thing, like to add effects or music and basically every little thing that I could so that I could get through it. Youtube is truly a great resource for learning new thing!
Here is the intro video! Show it some love, and feel free to comment, share advice or stories of your experience, and most importantly Subscribe!

Filming and posting
Let me be honest and just admit how nerve racking these stages were. I am practically putting myself out there for the world to scrutinize. Filming… I guess I have made introduction videos for the past two years, but never thought they were up to par with ‘the standard.’ Finally I filmed another one and posted it, even with all the imperfections. The time to post finally came around after months of procrastination (Which I am working on ) and learning, and for anyone doing this for the first time, I think you can relate. Having conversations with myself I finally said “I’m doing this!” and closed my eyes and hit the upload button.
Finally Carpe diem!, seize the day and do the things that scare you the most and overcome those fears, it’s a bit cliche I know, but it is absolutely true. I personally believe that growth and success is on the other side of fear and your comfort zone.
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable….
